Survey of Service Providers
We are implementing an operational grant to establish a Service Network for Children of Inmates. Our goal is to coordinate services and develop programs to stop intergenerational incarceration.

In Miami-Dade County, more than 15,000 children have parents in state and federal prisons and in jail. Many children of incarcerated parents enter social service and community organization support systems due to poverty, learning deficits, or misbehavior.

Through this survey, we are seeking to gather information about your knowledge and perceptions about children in our communities who have a parent who incarcerated. We are also seeking information about your organization and how you may be already providing services to the children. The survey has only 12 questions and will take 2 to 5 minutes to complete. If you have any questions or additional input, please contact the planning grant coordinator, Shellie Solomon at SESolomon@jssinc.org or (954) 458-6465.
