Our program finds children of incarcerated parents in the community and reconnects them with their parents in correctional institutions.
But what Children of Inmates does is a lot more than that.
Our staff approaches our work as being able to give as much as we can to our families -- modeling our behaviors of “unconditional love” for children, their caregivers, and their parents.

The podcast eloquently supports our “brain science/heart link” concept to our work. It discusses how researchers are seeing changes in the brain associated with changes in behaviors associated with compassion -- even with gang members.
